AMS Ltd were appointed by Dalkia, on behalf of the Scottish Government, to carry out the project management and CDM Project Co-ordinator role for a new data centre project in Edinburgh. The initial phase to obtain client approval involved the design and cost management of the project. This involves the design, tender and delivery of a new HV infrastructure from the primary network and an HV ring within the site. The further phases involve the delivery of a new data centre facility to the latest standards, taking into account energy efficiency and environmental considerations, which will provide a very resilient facility for the Scottish Government.
